My 6 year old daughter is crazy in love with animals, including stuffed animals.
I have been working on a dog for her and it's almost done.So now she's waiting...and waiting..and waiting...oh yeah and so am I, I really want to finish this dog..it's so cute!....And what are we waiting for......animaleyes...yep...You can't just go and find them in my town so I had to order them online. In the meantime here's a picture of the pieces.
I bought the pattern here : Dog, Simply Cute Crochet Pattern by Teri Crews Designs
While waiting ,I decided to start a new project. A babydress for my daughters friends babygirl since I don't have a baby myself, and I doubt my 23 year old daughter will dress my grandson in it *laughs*,
It's just so cute and who knows..maybe my daughter will have a girl next time and then I can make it for her ;)
You can buy the pattern here

About
So..this is going to be my first post as a blogger.
This blog will mainly be about my two main craft hobbies. Knitting and crocheting.
I've been knitting ever since I was a kid on and off. Mostly off .Life always seemed to get in the way or I got bored with whatever project I was on. Until I started having more than one project running at the same time.
At that time I started learning the US terms of knitting. I love US and UK patterns.
I recently discovered crocheting. Not that I didn't know about it, but it never really "spoke" to me as something I would enjoy doing. Boy was I wrong!
One day I decided I would knit a beanie for kids. Problem was, I couldn't really find any knitting patterns I liked in danish, so I started looking at crocheting patterns, still in danish. I found one I kinda liked and started looking at the basics of crocheting. And I had so much fun doing it and that was when I got hooked.
I wasn't quite happy with the pattern and started searching for patterns in english. I quickly found a whole bunch of patterns I liked and started learning the terms in english (US).
At some point I came across Craftsy and in one of their newsletters, I could sign up with a discount for one of their online classes and so I did.
Now I'm hooked on crocheting and discovering Craftsy actually made my passion for knitting come back. At this point I'm signed up for 5 classes and I'm not done signing up yet.
Thank you for reading :)
